Guest, UPDATE We went through the site migration runbook and completed all steps. We will need to complete the migration next week, but will leave the forums up for the weekend. A few days after maintenance, a major upgrade revision to the forum site will occur.

I live in the great state of Texas (if that wasn't painfully obvious) and in that situation I would have taken my documents and walked out before she ever saw a picture. If she wants to be a gumshoe detective then let her practice on someone else, i'd say.

Several years back, I bought a Canadian Army surplus M101 trailer from a military salvage yard not too far from home. Before purchase, I'd called DMV, asked about registration requirements and was told all I needed was a bill of sale and a photo of the build plate showing the serial number. When I went to the local license bureau (in NC, they're operated by concessionaires) with said documentation, the owner told me I couldn't register it without a title. I'd known this guy for years and our kids were in 4-H together but he wouldn't budge. Went to the office the next town over and got my tags with no problem, Some people are just pricks.
