Used to be there but now I seem to be gone. Even the find function doesn't locate me. I don't think I changed anything in my profile that would effect this.

Interesting, I'm pretty sure I didn't toggle it off. At least not on purpose. I wonder what could cause that to happen? Some default during a forum update?

Thanks for catching & fixing it.

New member here. I think I've done everything right on my end to show my location on the map. I did all the settings yesterday and waited for the map to cycle today. Can any admins or mods check my settings and make sure I'm not missing anything?

Thanks in advance!

@Jeepsies Lewiston, Montana does not resolve on Google Maps, which is what the Member Map uses. Lewistown is a larger city, but Lewiston shows in searches as a small agricultural community, so maybe too small to show up on a map. You can use the next larger near city, but in Montana, that could be quite a ways away!

Also I should learn how to spell the town I'm in. It is Lewistown not Lewiston. #facepalm. I thought I'd spelled it correctly but looking over at my avatar I can see that it is incorrect there. Thanks everyone. I'll update. #SMH

No problem at all. My first thought was that there was a Lewiston, MT across from Lewiston, ID until I remembered that Lewiston, MT was on the Washington border, not the Montana side.

I've seen worse spelling. Or, if folks just put in their state or country, they are all lumped into a big mass meet up near the center of that state/country. :)

You should show up near the correct location after midnight Pacific time. You can adjust the accuracy in your "privacy" settings.

I'm still not showing on the map. As far as I can figure all my settings are correct. Maybe I missed one?
