Hello from Guelph Ontario, home of the Jock Stap and the Hat Trick.

I own an unmodified 2009 Lexus GX470 with AT KO2s, with Apex Recovery points. Also a 2007 Subaru Outback.

I would see myself as a novice, looking at doing long multi week trips.

Hi: how far do you plan to travel? Canada only, North America only, further afield?
As far afield as possible, looking at North and South America in chapters, i can also work remotely so could easily travel for 2-3 weeks, leave my truck in storage where i finish and continue on. Not tying myself to a timeline, prefer to have the journey unfold.

Sounds great - welcome. I can probably offer some thoughts, not only for NA but also Central and South America, as you start focussing on specifics. My only thought to start with is "Keep it Simple" - we're more or less minimalist - you don't need extensive (and expensive) modifications to drive to Argentina from Canada, so add only what you identify as essential. Have fun!
