If you don't mind me asking, what kind of storage bins do you have in that roof rack? I'm currently shopping for rugged bins, so many brands, so many to choose from.... Would love to know what you're working with. Thank you and cheers!!

Hey Daniel...they are pelican cases, i went "old" school and drilled a couple of holes / used "U" bolts....they do the trick and have weathered well !...cheers mate

I'm about a year away from being in S. Texas myself and I'm looking forward to it.

We where originally looking at the area just north of Brownsville (Harlingen) but we've now moved west some. It's looking more like the Ft Stockton area now. But I'm retiring in 35 days so when we move I'll have all the time to go wherever I want so I'm sure we'll be able to hook up if we want.

I think we're going to have a nice little south and west Texas contingent! I don't live there, but spend a lot of time there. On my way to El Paso now, then to Alpine and Marathon, maybe down to Terlingua and Big Bend if I have time, then back out of the state. Back to the area this late fall, winter, I hope, too.
