Hello everyone! I am new to overlanding but love camping so I figured it would be an easy transition. Right now I have a daily driver 2018 Impreza that sits too low to the ground to do anything other than almost flat roads and easy logging roads. And eventually I will have an 88 Jeep xj that I am fixing up to be a dedicated overlanding rig!
Welcome to the crew Damien,
As
@PNW EXPLR said you can contact myself (The Northwest Regional Director),
@Gabriel Bozeman (Washington member Rep)
@Sandpoint Steve (Inland Northwest Member Representative,
@PNW EXPLR (Southwestern Washington/ Eastern Oregon). We are here to help you in what ever capacity we can. With the Pandemic spreading a crossed the globe, our mission has changed a little bit. We are reaching out to members of our great organization to offer up help and support in any way we can.
@Michael is putting up great new content on the OLB YouTube channel to help us stay positive in these times of self isolation.
Overland Bound
We the Northwest Overland Bound Member Representative Team is working on setting up some Telephone Conferences, Video Web Chats, and other forms of electronic meetups.
I highly recommend getting your Ham license and a radio in these times of isolation. The Spout Springs Repeater Group covers Northeast Oregon all the way to Yakima. They have a nightly “Rag Chew” net at 7:00 pm PST that all licensed Hams are encouraged to check in. Then we have Weekly Net for OLB, every Friday Night at 5:30 PST in EchoLink.
Friday Night HAM Radio NET
I currently monitor the
Grand Ronde Radio Association Repeater Network.
If you have any thing we can help you with (except toilet paper) don’t hesitate to ask.
