I've always been a fan of camping and four wheeling so this seems like a great place to be! I'm quite new to the idea of overlanding, but I'm excited to get into it.
I've got a 2010 chevy Silverado 1500. Nothing crazy done to it yet. Just a camper top and a rear locker.

Hello Cmull43 - The southwest Virginia interests me for camping, sightseeing and hiking. I have the book, Southwest Virginia Crossroads by Joe Tennis and the book explains much about the region's history and important landmarks. I'm retired with time for travel, sightseeing and leisure.

I'm in southeast Pennsylvania and planning a few days to explore southwest Virginia soon. Do you have any local and remote (mostly quiet) campsite recommendations? Is there any BLM land in southwest Virginia?

Any information would be helpful. Thank you.
