Good Afternoon Guys!
My name is Dylan and I'm super excited to be here. I'm from the San Dimas area in Southern California.

I have a 1996 Jeep Cherokee XJ that I have been working on for the last 5 years or so. I have done most of the work on it this year thanks to Covid giving me some free time.

I have done minimal camping, but most off my time has been spent exploring local and some non-local trails. I really want to get into general camping amd more 2-3 day trips.

I have attached some photos from when I first got my Jeep all the way to how it sits today.

Welcome from a fellow San Diman, I live by the high school. We have a group that get together once a month over at the Corner Bakers, Lonehill and Gladstone 3rd Thursday of the month. Check meetups . I tend to go for week or 2 at a time.

Thanks, you too! The cooling system is all stock. All I did was swap out the efan for the newer style 10 blade one that came in the 97+ XJs. Oh and I put a fan switch to turn on the electric fan early if i want.

Sweet, I have had my eyes on a XJ for the last few years. My CJ5 use to run hot (210/220) so I had to swap out the OEM rad for a 2 core - Northern HP Aluminum Rad. She runs under 190 now.

Thanks Kent!

Nice work on the restoration! Looks great
Smart move with the cooling fan, going over the grapevine in the middle of summer puts the cooling system to the test!
