Hello from Northern Idaho!

Hello,

I am Craig and I am just getting started into this overlanding stuff although I have been an outdoorsman my whole life. I am also new to this forum stuff and thought I would give it a go do see what kind of community I can find to both get and give ideas... I think I will be doing more getting than giving here at the beginning although I suppose that is how all new hobbies are.
My wife and I have a bigger family and love getting outside to do any activity we can. We are looking forward to better equipping our vehicles and family in order to enjoy more adventures.

Hi Craig (@C-Rod) and welcome to Overland Bound. It looks like @Kent R hit the high points of getting information. You can also check out the NorthWest Region forum [link] for more area specific interests. There is a lot being planned in the Northern Idaho / Northeast Washington area for this summer, so I am sure you will find some great opportunities to learn more about overlanding and enjoy the outdoors. As events are planned, they will be posted on the Rally Point system [link], so you might want to check that out as well.
