2005 Tacoma four-banger with a 5 speed
Just an old firefighter working on a end game. Installed a used fiberglass camper top and have been stomping around the hills of Tennessee, North Carolina and Georgia over the last year. Although I have done some heavy duty off-roading in the past--these days traveling alone I mostly stick to the easy stuff. This is my third Toyota four wheeler and it is a daily driver. Have a '92 and a '85 in the barn and all were purchased new. I try and keep everything simple as I can, but love just living out of the back as they say. I am tossing the idea around of selling pretty much all my stuff and buying a big rig, ie Earth Cruiser Fx and spend the next five years or so touring the country. This leads to my first Overland West adventure. Taking at least three weeks off in May and headed that way. Appreciate in advance any advice as to how best to experience the expo and any thing along the way or after that might fit my bill.

5E10561E-7441-48D7-8A2D-281F40C60AEB.jpeg Hey y’all! New member here. From the Vine grove KY area. Been camping all my life , bought a 07 JkU a few years back and have since gotten into overlanding (still fairly new).
Done a few trips trough the gorge area (mostly camping) and a few trips through pisgah and unaka (first real overlanding experience) . Love to get out and explore new places with new people . Just enjoying the great outdoors and the sites that God has blessed us with.
Would love to get to know you guys and the community !
