Hello! My name is Lee. Some might know me from Expedition Portal or TacomaWorld as LMarshall73. The CAISOB Taco is the third vehicle I've owned with the intent of overland/back country travel. The first being an H2 and the second a Subaru Forester. I'll explain more about what "CAISOB" means later. First, a couple of pictures of my truck.

It's pretty standard, with a 2.5" lift (courtesy of OME 885 springs in the front, an AAL in the rear, and Bilstein 5100's all around) and 32" Goodyear AT's. I'm building on a budget, so I am utilizing a lot of DIY and secondhand bits and pieces. The bed rack consists of Unistrut crossbars, 36" Plano gun cases, and the basket is a Hitch Haul from Walmart.

Now might be a good time to explain CAISOB. It stands for Cheap And Impatient SOB. Essentially, if I can build it for less than I can buy it (or find a suitable alternative for less), I go for it.

Anyway, I look forward to learning what this community has to offer and hope that I am able to contribute in some meaningful way.

Oh, and here are a couple of pictures of my old H2 and Foz, just for kicks.
