Welcome, @Kevin Lackey and family, to Overland Bound and to the many adventures that await you. You are just down the road from one of our Member Reps (and a great guy) @4wheelspulling. To top it off, you are right along the Washington Backcountry Discovery Route (WABDR), which is an extremely popular set of tracks for new and experienced overlanders alike.
I highly recommend heading over to our NorthWest Region forum [link] so you can get to know who is in the area and what is going on. We also post our events up to the Rally Point System [link], so I recommend keeping an eye on that. In fact, if you are willing to drive a little bit (3 hours) there is a Meetup and BBQ in Spokane on August 18th [link].

Welcome to OB! I’m up here in Chelan, so let’s get together some time! I do have an Overland run over Labor Day weekend on a loop to a campground back in the mountains of Lake Chelan. Will even be taking part of the WABDR, on the return trip! If this sounds like something you want to be a part of, let me know and I can help you sign up. Any trips or outing you would like to do, with a little notice, I can post on our OB forum, and let others know and join the outing. Any questions get a hold of me? Vance.

Just want to make sure you saw the time change on the departure time for our Overland Bound Labor Day Weekend Adventure? We need to leave by 4:00 PM. on Friday the 30Th.( this weekend ). To help get to the campground before dark on Friday. So far, just the 3 of us! I bet more will sign up as we get closer to the weekend. If not, that is fine too! Glad you and your wife are coming! OK, sounds good. My wife and I will be there, but at this time it looks like we will only be able to do one night. My wife has to be at church for a commitment on Sunday morning. We may be able to return, but we will see.
BTW, is there a link to the Rally Point? All the info I have is from you. I looked and could not find anything.

I did make and setup a Rally Point. I looked and could not find it? Glad you are willing to still go. We are it so far, but that makes sense if you don’t see a Rally Point! Vance.

How are you doing today? Just a thought to share with you. If we make the trip to South Navarre campground, that is about 50 miles from Walmart in Chelan and our meetup spot. I chose this campground because it is a long ways from the others and in a beautiful spot. All the campgrounds closer in will be full with the big weekend. So far, with the Rally Point not working right, it would be just you, your wife, and I, plus our dogs. With the distance to the campground and your trip over, that is quite a long distance to drive for the night, then have to drive back to Selah again the next day. What if we cancel the trip for this time and plan something even over your way for another weekend? Just seems like to much driving for you to have to do, in a short time frame. What do you think? We can still go, or start planning a different trip and weekend?
My wife lives in Selah! We are separated right now, but I am praying and hoping to be reunited as husband and wife soon. So, I seem to get over your way lots. I love the mountains by you and get out camping up Highway 410 and Bumping River and lake, all I can! Vance..

Well, I was thinking of doing Bethel Ridge. Would you like to do that instead, either this weekend or maybe one of the next few? I did it a couple of years ago on the bike and it was a great road with incredible views.
