I've been lurking a bit here and there. It's been awhile since I've been off roading. I had an 89 Toyota Truck I did a lot of work to and crawled it a bit. Got out of it some years ago and for a long time I've been going through the mental exercise of the what to get next and what I want to do with it.

So as of late 2017 I purchased a new to me 05 Suburban. I don't plan on rock crawling it but long trips, some off road and room for days compared to the previous truck. Once it's mechanically more sound or at least I feel good about it. I'll start doing the fun stuff. Current fun plans are loose the 3rd row seats and add a drawer system. Add a rooftop tent and hard mount an ARB compressor and plumb it to the four corners. That should take me a bit of time but we all need a plan, right?

Here's a pict of my Yota.

Currently I have yet to take a pict of the Suburban, I will add one.

Thanks for viewing, and I'm looking forward to meeting some of you.

Hello Ken and welcome to the OB crew...great looking Toy and look forward to seeing your Burban build and your adventures. You share same location of outstanding group of Overlanders, Expedition Overland. They got me hooked over 3 years ago on their adventures.
