Hello everyone!

My name is Draven. I live Fayettville, North Carolina. I am in the Active Army so if you know my area you’ll probably guess where I’m stationed lol.
I have a 2020 Tacoma TRD Off-road and a 2015 Mustang GT. I came back from a deployment and decided I wanted a vehicle that could be useful. I wanted to go places I had never been able to reach in my mustang and be more connected to nature. My wife loves to backpack with her friends and I’m not really into backpacking anymore due to an injury. So I’m slowly turning my set up into a base camp for her.
I’ve been watching Overland Bound on YouTube for a little bit and love what they all do and the message that it has. It seems like a very like minded community here and I hope to learn from you all.

Welcome! :)

I have to ask, what is it with americans and trucks?
I’m not sure. It’s a culture thing I suppose. If you look at the way the USA wants everything big it makes sense. Even our roads are considerably bigger then anywhere I’ve ever been. I’ve seen the roads in Europe, Africa, and the Middle East. Americans just like everything big. Lol

I bought a small truck compared to what most of my friends have.
