Hello everyone, new here (and to USA).
Recently picked up the GX 470. I was looking for land-cruisers, and I guess the Prado 120 is the one for us. Love long distance travel on the roads less traveled.

Stay in the Bay area. Have wheeled at Hollister a couple of times, and also been to Buck rock in the Kings Canyon area with her. Longest trip was to Utah
Here is the GX on her first real long distance wheeling trip in Moab

Other than 4x4 and overland, I really like astro-photography, and the two interests match, because for reaching dark skies you often have to take the road less traveled

Looking forward to interacting and meeting Bay area offroaders and overlanders.

Before this, we had a Diesel Tata Safari 2.2 4x4. Was colossally unreliable, but took us places.

Welcome to Overland Bound from Texas! Great looking pictures!

Welcome from Austin, TX
Hello and welcome to OB! Great looking rig and pictures!
Thanks for the welcome. Had some nice trips in the past couple of months. This is a great dirt road rig, and with the ride getting harsh, I guess a suspension upgrade should be 15,000 miles away.

Kcrkolby, would love to see some normal rigs at Hollister, all I see are modified vehicles with 33"+ tires. That said, I am waiting for Frank Raynes park up the hill when it opens again in the Rainy season. The trails up there seem more scenic.
