Hey everyone!
Just joined the forum after some time perusing and wanted to make my introduction. I decided to finally join after confirming to myself that this was the place I wanted to be, with people I would like to surround myself with and spend time on.
Just a little about me: I'm 37 years old, from the midwest but live in SC currently, and moving to WA in about a year. My wife and I enlisted together in the Army years ago, so we've been all over; West coast, East coast, Europe, and a deployment to Afghanistan as a platoon medic in the Airborne Infantry. After some time (and a kid!) I decided to move on and do other things while she stayed in. Well, now we have two kids hah so I'm home for the foreseeable future, but I'm always out and about with the kids going on our own little adventures which undoubtedly will grow into larger adventures as they grow. We've always been an outdoors family and I don't think that will ever change.
Last month we bought ourselves a brand new 4Runner TRD Pro with which I immediately fell in love. After some lower performance vehicles in the past, I finally have a good platform for our adventuring and the reliability and peace of mind that comes with that, an assurance that our travels are just beginning.
Anyway, I'm happy to be here, look forward to some meetups, and am ready to absorb more information from you all. I'm also available anytime if anyone needs tips on First Aid, Trauma preparedness, etc. Just message me.
