I worked my club call for most of Field Day but I did have a chance to demo my portable setup as a 1B. Hope everyone had a good time!

Just got here me from making 783 contacts in 24 hours. Phone really died this year after midnight Pacific time… although I made more contacts between 7:30 am and 11:00 am Pacific than any other 4.5 hour run the whole trip.

I too was running an 80m EFHW antenna… although I made the Shortend version.

Another year, another field day.
This year I will be working so I will operate for a handful of hours after work.

Find a club and get on the air or set up your own and make some contacts.

Couldn't pass up some DX during Field Day, France, Brazil, Finland, Russia, Bulgaria, Serbia and will throw Hawaii (x3) in there as well. Most of that was on 15m.
