GX460 winch mount options

Hi everyone- I have a 2010 Lexus GX460 and would like to get a winch, but not really wanting to go with a full metal bumper. What options do I have? I thought about a front hitch mount, but not sure if I would have to remove under protection to make one fit. Thoughts? What have you done with your early 460? Thanks!

No, the bumper mounts ar different between. 09 and 10

If the 460 is still built on the 120 platform you might reach out to BudBuilt to see if the hidden winch mount for either the 4th or 5th Gen 4Runners would work for you.

I decided to go with the LFD Hybrid Bumper. It shipped out today. I'll post an update after I complete the install: Hybrid Front Bumper - GX460 2010-2013

In case anyone is interested... I just did a short unboxing video of the new LFD Hybrid Front Bumper for the 2010-13 GX460. Well packaged and the bumper is of very high initial quality. I also weighed it - 90 lbs with all hardware (85 lbs without hardware).

Finished the install today. Pearl now has her new LFD Hybrid Front Bumper. The next step is to add a winch!

Looks like a nice unit. I'm going with the Harbor Freight "Badlands" winch with rope vs. cable. Reviews are really good.

Just finished installing a Smittybilt X20 Gen2 10K Synthetic Line Winch on Pearl. It went really easy and smooth. Will be editing a new video next weekend to talk about why I went with the LFD Hybrid Bumper and the Smittybilt Winch for the 2010 GX460. If any one has any questions, let me know... Cheers!
