I`m 47 from zurich, switzerland. Did some international overland journeys in the past, with my beloved land cruiser 200.

Hi Heinz and welcome back to the forum,

The 200series is a fantastic base for an overlanding rig and yours looks well used. Great.

By the way, take a look at the Rally Points for planned events in Europe and meetup with OB members. There you can filter by region. Switzerland belongs to MidEurope. We had several awesome meetups in the past and more is planned for the futre. You can find pictures of the past meetups in the Overland Bound Meetups subforum. We also do a virtual campfire every 14 days which will start again by end of the summer/ autumn when people are back from their trips. Just watch for it in the Rally Points and join us next time if you like.

I TRULY ENJOYED YOUR PICTURES. MANY THANKS FOR SHARING. SWITZERLAND IS ONE OF MY FAVOURITE COUNTRIES. I WAS LAST THERE SKIING FOR TWO WEEKS IN PERFECT -4 C WEATHER WITH CLEAR BLUE SKIES WITH MY YOUNGER SON AND FAVOURITE DAUGHTER-IN-LAW IN 2014 AT THE MATTERHORN. SUPER SKIING, SUPER FOOD, SUPER PEOPLE, SUPER FACILITIES, SUPER TIME. I WAS 90 LAST JULY 1 AN AM BLESSED WITH EXCELLENT PHYSICAL AND MENTAL HEALTH.
