Oh I see your post now. Thanks!! I'm using a 12v socket FM modulator right now. It works, but 2003 called and they want their tech back. Lol

I just put one of these $19 Blaupunkt stereos in my Sub. It works great and has everything but a CD player. It is so small that you could mount it anywhere and leave the factory radio in place. It is single din, but less than 2in deep. Also it is super light.

For $19 is is cheaper than any other solution and I love mine.
