For all those overloading in a Gladiator, I'm interested in opinions about the Mojave model vs Rubicon model. Are there any pros or cons anyone will share? I'm aware of all the differences in the models and originally assumed I would purchase a Rubicon, but after some review, the Mojave seems to have a strong case as being a base for a overland build. Thanks for any input.

I don't think you can go wrong on either platform. I have a Rubicon and it's been a great truck. @TAHOOOO has a Mojave and last year on the the Mojave Rd, it seemed they handled the washboards much better than I did. lol If you plan to mod it out and do some serious rock crawling, the Rubicon might have a bit of an edge. But I think it's really a 6to1, half-dozen the other kind of choice.

If payload is a concern, pay close attention to the sticker on the door jam. My Mojave has a payload of 1101 lbs not the 1200lbs the brochures and online specs give you. I put AirLift 1000 air bags on the rear just to give a little extra support.
