I’m super pumped to get out in the “beyond” and begin overlanding with my wife.
We have recently transplanted to New Mexico and little by little outfit our truck , 2019 Raptor. It would be considered a high mileage truck because of the pilot who I bought it from drove ~150-200 miles a day on the highway.
We recently went out on the pecos trail marked on the overlanding map and had a blast!

Is there a forum for used gear on here where I can start picking up some items and I would like to know from the veterans what would be the first item then second and so on. Going to do day trips and feel out the raptor within moderation until I can connect with a group. Don’t want to get stranded for sure.

Hey Ron, welcome to Overland Bound! Being in New Mexico, it won't be hard to find a group of people who wouldn't mind going on some trips with ya.

You can go here to find stuff people are selling. Also, be sure to check out the OB1 app in the Apple or Android play store. Lots of cool features and more are being added/upgraded all the time.

Welcome aboard. BTW, since you have a Raptor, it can have problems overlanding depending what style of overlanding you plan on. CK out @socialpants on youtube about his travails with Raptor suspension issues.

He is a buddy of Michael the OB founder. Part of the issues are shown on the OB YT channel also on the MOAB trip.
