Right? Some light wheeling camping and ghost towns...sign me upI haven't done any ghost town exploring but man it does sound fun.

I'm about 80% sure I could meet up with you guys on the 21st in Bodie. My parents live near Topaz Lake, NV (about 90min up 395) so I could drop the kiddos off there Friday evening and come down to Bodie early Sat morning.I'm game for going to Bodie the weekend of May 20th? Who's interested?

88 to 89 through Makrleville to 395. Longer drive mileage wise but 88 is a much quicker drive so time wise it probably isn't too much worse.Which way is everyone going? HWY 120 and 108 may still be closed by then. You could go up HWY 50 but that would take longer from the Bay Area.
Just checked the road conditions on Sonora, Tioga Pass and both are closed until May. They didn't list any dates in May but with the weird weather we've been having, I would have to guess late May?If Sonora and Tioga are both closed then I'm out :-)
HWY 88 sounds good! I might even have to make a stop at Jackson Rancheria to do some gambling.88 to 89 through Makrleville to 395. Longer drive mileage wise but 88 is a much quicker drive so time wise it probably isn't too much worse.
