So I don't have an Overland rig yet but plan on bringing my camping gear.

Bring it! It doesn't matter what you drive after all. Always interested in seeing how other people roll off the grid. My 'rig' is just a daily driver with a roof rack mounted carrier and a big back seat.

I might bring my super-cheap DIY version of a Tembo-Tusk Skottle to show off. Who knows...I might even do some skillet bacon-pepper poppers to hand out if the weather permits.

I just RSVP'd, see you all there as long as nothing happens! I'm down for camping as well if that get's organized. Might bring a friend with a jeep, if he can make it; trying to convince him to join OB.

Awesome! Twist his arm...I've got a couple of interested people as well. I think half of joining something like this is fear that everyone else is way more advanced, hard-core or 'leet than you. I think you'll find that it will run the gambit and everyone is welcome :)
