Generator: Honda vs Predator

I have been looking at getting an inverter generator and I am still undecided. I found Honda, Yamaha, Predator and also Westinghouse WH2200i.
People report that Yamaha burns oil like crazy, so I think I will stay away.

Predator 2000 seems to match Honda eu2000i on paper.

Westinghouse is slighlty more powerful, but costs more than Predator.

Desicions... decisions. I know, I'd love to get Honda, it would probably last me a decade, but it is way over my budget right now.

I was about to purchase the Honda 2000 because I was impress on how quiet it is, but the cost is about $1000. I came across the Predator which cost half of the price. When you read the specs, the only difference is 3db, and the Predator gives you an extra hour of power. I was wondering if some of you own a predator?

I bought 2 yesterday for my food truck. So far I love it. I parked next to another truck with a Honda eu6000 and mine was quieter. No they won’t last as long as a Honda but I got replacement plan for an extra 125. I can always
Take it back and swap it if it breaks.
One of them Pushes everything I have in my truck with some to spare.
My only question.. the parallel kit at HF is labeled for an output of 3500-4000 watts which is fine for running parallel with the smaller ones.
They do not have one labeled for higher.
That being said I ran them parallel tonight with the HF parallel kit and was pushing 5k watts so they were both sharing a load with no sign of overload. The packaging on the 3500-4000 parallel kit says it’s also compatible with Honda generators.
Can I use an aftermarket kit?
All and all I’m happy at half the price. Outperformed the Honda although it may not last as long.
