New to this forum but not to overlanding, I love the founding principles and open sharing philosophy of this community.

Having overlanded in South Africa, Australia, Turkey, Oman and the US; I'm about to head out for a 3 month overlanding trip in the States!

My plan is to purchase a low mileage GX470, upgrade tires and suspension, before heading out into the wild.

Looking forward to learning, sharing and some great times ahead.

Picked up the GX470 today. Now the next journey begins (will grab some kit today after a recon trip to Bass Pro yesterday). Ready to cstch up with dome OB members at OEW this weekend
