I will say though that when we went it was easy, peasy. A stock Outback wouldn't have had any trouble. Hadn't had precip in quite a while so the only challenging thing would have been the mud bogs, which were hard as a rock. With recent rain I could see it getting slippery though.

I see on the map that certain parts of the route state that you have to be OHV compliant and that they except some out of state permits including WA. So does our Discover Pass fulfill this requirement or do we need something else?

Oregon has an OHV sticker that you need to purchase for $10 and is valid for two years. The money goes to trail development and maintenance. Most motorcycle shops sell them. You will need to have your VIN number with you when you go to get one.

Gauging interest for this years Memorial Day trip.
I'm looking at doing part of Route 4 of the ORBDR (not all of the 240 miles). http://www.oohva.org/OBCDR/route4.html
I'm looking for the number of people who are interested, as well as a few people that are close that might be able to do some recon for me.
There will be an official Rally Point created for registration when the time comes.
