I am looking for a starting point to plan for a gas 2500 dodge ram truck to turn into an overland rig. I found AEV. Is this a good company?

AEV comes highly recommended along with Carlie and Deaver right behind. @PNW EXPLR Might have some information on this as well.

Just depends on what the goal is and what the truck will be used for.

AEV is probably the best choice if you want to retain factory GVWR . They reuse the factory springs and use adapters (not upper spacers) to lift and push the front axle forward.
Carli and Thuren are also very reputable with Ram trucks, however I believe there replacement springs are taller and softer and will lower the GVWR of the truck.
If you are not planning to tow anything big (+12k ish) you would probably be fine.

I am looking to get into overlanding. Plus, it will be my daily driver.
