Biggest loss was DeLorme's customer service. They were a great small company. You actually talked to a knowledgeable person in the US. Imagine that!!! With the advent of InReach, Garmin saw a small competitor really making a name for itself and gaining a larger market share. Garmin is huge and definitely not known for customer service. Their maps are so so and very expensive. Corporate focus of late has been on wrist mounted gps technology for fitness, not navigation. I miss DeLorme.
