Gaiagps custom map database or repository

I have been hunting around the web to find custom Gaiagps maps for the Alberta / BC for 4x4 overlanding trails.

I found them for the Avenza tool. I also want to share trails I have done.

What's happening?

This is for the states, but zooming out some and looking for personal tracks.. I did come across some that were uploaded. This is also "free". Just need to create an account, You can you this on the pc (play with, with out an account if you want) and can download the app (for phone/tablet as well). I have it and play with it when I think of it.

Zooming in and looking at Canada... I do see trails (uncharted, but there), but unsure if drive-able. Possible foot trails or for the skidoo. That would be your area of expertise.

Rite. Sorry about that, been browsing the web for motorcycles..

All the tabs under “find” and “near” are greyed out. Highlight the 2nd tab (left to right) and make sure the “Personal tracks” is checked. The 3rd tab “user published”. Then see what happens.

After that, find one of the trails and click on it.

Hopefully that will help some.

Also.... to publish a track, you have to fill in all the added info. Sounds like a pain in the rear. But I have not tried doing it yet.





When im running with people, i do not have time to do this. if by yourself and not jamming up the trail. I guess all the time in the world to do so.

Are you able to share the name of the avenza map? I am in yyc thus very much interested. Also did you get a custom Gaia overlay?
