Nice Project! I am of the same mindset, Build it yourself! That's the fun part in my opinion.

Westcott Designs sliders installed, my body is sore! These suckers are heavy! Just in time as we have an OLB tomorrow AM, Canada in October, and Death Valley in November

I used an old piece of plywood screwed to my floor jack, made it pretty easy

Hey Ofer!

Thanks for saying hi! It is pretty darn beautiful up here. I just ran into @Kent R on the trail doing a section where the Magruder Corridor and the IDBDR overlap. We just got back last weekend from Canada!

I installed Westcott Designs sliders. They are the TIG, 0°, powder coated with top plates. Stout indeed.

That looks epic. I see Kent regularly and will see him next weekend in the Mojave. He is an asset. Been working on this build for the last 2+ years.

I got my Quick Pitch privacy suite mounted. Not all the straps around the perimeter are attached as it was getting dark. I needed it to swing away from the truck so it retains its full size hanging down and not leaning against the side of the truck. I also needed it to swing towards the rear 12" so that the iKamper ladder would clear the privacy frame when it comes down.

I ended up using a TV mount rated for 88lbs and plan on adding a locking system to stabilize it against the rack when the truck is in motion.

Can anyone reccomend a good tonneau cover for a toyota tundra 6.5ftbed?

Yes this is true, I regularly stand by it and cuss all the time

I love mine! It will hold 500-1100lbs on top depending on model and takes me 4-5 minutes to remove if need be

HAM Radio Speaker Mount

Simple but useful mod. I go with groups out off roading about once a month and radio comms are essential to what we do with 10 to 15 rigs. I had the small cheap external speaker in my cupholder at the rear of the center console, but it barks so loudly that my wife hates it. So I moved it to my head rest. The RAM mount fits nicely on the half inch bar of the headrest and now the sound goes right into my ear at a lower volume, so it doesn’t annoy my wife. I was able to sneak the wire down through the back of the seat, both sides of the seat unzip on the back, making it easy to get access

FITCAMX DASHCAM FOR 3RD GEN TUNDRAS

I had a window mounted dashcam but never loved how it looked. I have one of these for my Rav4 and it looks OEM and barely there so I grabbed one for my truck. My guilty pleasure is watching dashcam crash videos on YT btw.

Install took like 20 minutes and it uses the mirror/TSS power at the top of the windshield, super easy.

Ya I was looking for something a little more light weight but still a hard top. A lot of them are these flush mounts which I don't like, I want it sit on my bed rail.

The OEM tri-folds look pretty good, other than that idk. Are you on www.tundras.com? Lots of ideas there too
