We have sort of been doing overland for years in our Polaris RZR at our winter home in Arizona. My wife has cancer so we sold the Arizona place and we are limited on RZR riding places in the NW so we are going to build a street legal overland vehicle. Excited to meet people and learn everything

Cheers'
Hello and welcome to the OB crew neighbor. Look forward to seeing the vehicle you choose for your adventure platform and your adventures.

If you still have the RZR I'd recommend a camping weekend in Conconully, WA. You can park it in front of the Conconully State Park, then drive through town (a very little one street town) from there up into all the trails. FYI. The WABDR goes rgiht through Conconully, and it's a great little place to camp. There are a number of fishing lakes, and a ton of mining history in the area as well.

Welcome to Overland Bound, @RikR. With a simple rig, you can go lots of places in the PNW. I travel to Vancouver periodically for work and love exploring Gifford Pinchot National Forest, there is just so much to see! As for meeting people, there are a number of great overlanding events occurring throughout the PNW, so I recommend checking out the Overland Bound NorthWest Region forum [link] for meetups and to get to know your neighbors. Events are also posted on the Rally Point system [link], so you might want to check that out as well.

I look forward to seeing you out there! If you need anything, feel free to hit me up on the forums: @Jedi.
