Just another new member here ;) from the middle of North Carolina.

I'm Jeff, I'm a ham radio op, I break computers for a living and dont get enough outdoor time.

I grew up in SWVA and hiked a good bit of The AT and other trails in the Roanoke Valley area. Still miss that. Here in The NC piedmont, there's no such thing as mountains.

And since I'm tapping this out on my phone, I'll leave it at that and apologize for any typos.

Excellent introduction. Welcome to the forums and the overlanding community! Ham radio is also another passion of mine. It is ideal for communication when offroad. CB is okay but sometimes, you need the extra range and clarity that 2M/440 offers.
