Hello folks,

Not my car, but a Rig that hopefully will join us on lots of trips in the future.
This lady liked my Trailer and asked me if she could have an interior for her new car. Well, after a longer weekend traveling together I said yes, you can.
So, after a few months she called me and said, Robert, I have bought a car.

A garage had done the technical part and did some trailmaster shocks and such. I only had to do the interior.
So, I had to see how it all looked like in the back.

After removing some stuff I could start with measurements.

During this stage I realized the garage hadnt put in a dual battery system. So, I had to do that as well, plus all the wiring.
So, were shall I put it?

Well that should be a good place.

Seems to fit. This battery isnt the one that came in. Just be sure it would fit.
Okay lets do this

The real deal. Wired in already

so, have to stop a bit as the message cant have more as 20 pictures.
See you in a minute.

So here is part number 2

So now I started in the back

first fridge is in.

And that is the base plate, now the build can really start

Well the second fridge is in as well

This table should be in the car as well

like that

Bed

With lots of space underneath

This all has to go in the cubboards.

something like this

and then a second layer

making the drawers
with teflon strips

That looks not too bad?

Locks on

Control panel

it is starting to look okay
up for part number 3

Part number 3, the final one

almost there

more storage

fridge nicely done

It starts to look good

When she goes to sleep, extension for the bed.

Rail with rings for more storage

done

I hope you like it. This is my idea of an Overland Bound Interior.
Simple, with lots of storage.

I hope you will tell me if you have any ideas or suggestions about it.

Greetings from Robert

Nice Robert!

So, the sleeping are is the right/passenger side with the extension that rests on the seatback? What is the length of sleeping area?

Seems well thought out with lots of storage for the necessities and tie-downs all over for the loose stuff.
What is that "Off-Road Manni" thing, did you say that's a second fridge? I like the size and location of the small fridge right behind the passenger seat, quick access!

Dan.

Offroad Manni is a kind of brand from a shop in germany, he has got a series of fridges with his own brand for very reasonable prices. This one seems to be his drawer fridge with about 28liters I think...
