I purchased the Ready Light from FreeSpirit after watching a few episodes of Coyote Works. I liked how easy it looked to set up and mostly for the solar self charging and versatility of the pod lights. It’s definitely not a cheap light to buy, but so far it’s been worth it. My only gripe about it is the light mount that clamps to the pole is not removable and makes the light package not flat. Normally not a huge deal, but most of us are always concerned about cleanly storing stuff in our rigs.
It can be charged 3 different ways. 12 volt outlet, wall charger or solar.
The removable pods are awesome! They are magnet mounted around the main light. Each pod has a folding hook that can hang in your tent or wherever needed. Pods can also be a flashlight.
The light emitted from the main light is nice because it’s not your typical LED super bright blinding light. It’s a bit defused to make it a softer light. I’m only one trip out with it so far, but I think this light will definitely be an essential pack item for future trips
Solar charging panel
All 4 pods magnetted to my door
Very nice bright soft light at camp
Convenient hook on each pod
This mount keeps it from storing flat in it zippered pouch
