I’m embarrassed to even ask but while boondocking in Mark Twain National Forest last night I got trapped.

Strong winds (maybe tornados) came through and knocked out some trees preventing me from getting out.

I’m not in any kind of danger and am well equipped but without chainsaws and straps to pull trees I’m SOL.

I did call the county this morning and they told me they would get to me when they can. Just curious if anyone is in the immediate area and bored.

I can post more details on exactly what road I’m up if anyone is nearby. I’m very close to Big Piney River outside of Saint Robert Missouri.

Never be embarrassed to ask for help!

Glad your safe......

Jim
thanks! I was embarrassed cause I didn’t carry my saw…. But it turns out talking to the forest service guys that cut me out it took a 4 man cutting crew and a dozer most of the day to get through so even with a saw there’s now way I would have gotten out. I’m running solo at the moment so…. But it is a good reminder that you never know what could happen.
