Doesn’t REI offer a 1 year return policy? Also, even if you didn’t want to return it....you can exchange it for a different model or store credit as well for up to 1 year....

REI does have a 1 year return policy, however, I purchased it over a year ago. We retired in the last year and with moving, etc. we didn't use it for the first time until after the return policy expired. Story of my life I'm afraid!
