This converted ambulance is perfect for someone who wants a reliable platform for adventures without breaking the bank. It has a lot of superficial flaws (scratches, dents), but it will get you where you need to go and provide a comfortable place to sleep when you arrive. It is also very resistant to break-ins, giving you peace of mind as you travel.

VIN: 1FDXE45F13HB64752

Features:
  • 7.3L PowerStroke diesel engine with 210k miles. This engine is bulletproof and regularly goes 400k+ miles with proper maintenance, which this car has had.
  • Clean title
  • Regular maintenance. I have replaced the transmission, had oil changes every 4-5k miles, and recently put on a whole set of new tires and had them properly aligned.
  • High ground clearance
  • Block heater to start in cold weather
  • 2 x gel car batteries
  • Rear camera
  • Height from floor to ceiling is 66 ¼ inches
  • Amazing electrical system
    • 500 Watts of solar panels on roof
    • 2 x 100Ah 12V Lithium-Ion (LiFePO4) house batteries (link)
    • Solar charge controller (link)
    • Battery monitor (link)
    • 2000 Watt, 4000 Watt Peak, Pure Sine DC to AC Power inverter (link)
    • Battery to battery charger (link)
  • 45 L Iceco fridge (link)
  • Fold-up bed
  • 2-burner propane stove and kitchen table with cutting board
  • Sink with foot pump
  • 5 x 6-gallon water tanks
  • Lots of storage space
  • In-built fan in rear of body
  • 2-inch hitch with 5000 lb capacity (link)
  • (broken) Eberspacher diesel heater in back - currently malfunctioning, I suspect due to the controller needing replacing (link)
  • Propane heater (to be used only outside or with the window open) (link)
  • ($300 extra) Starlink satellite and cables

Limitations:
  • There are scratches, missing lights, dents, and general wear that comes with 20+ years of service life.
  • The conversion is basic. It’s a functional camper, not a luxury RV.
