Looking at some input from any one with an FJ Cruiser (2007 or newer) who have rino lined/line X'd their white roofs. I am thinking about getting mine line X'd in the future as i load a lot of equipment on the roof rack. Sometimes when putting stuff up, or taking it down, the roof gets nicked/scratched. (usually from family or friends). I keep going back and forth about doing it.

Thoughts?

If you are also looking at upgrading to a larger roof rack - it will protect your roof.

I have the ARB full rack with a mesh grid. I'm up there A LOT ratchet strapping stuff down or setting up my solar panels.

Just an FYI.

I've thought about upgrading but I already have a lot of wiring that currently runs through my OEM rack for my overhead LED's

I have a prinsu rack with a rhino lined roof.
The lining has held up well and looks good.
Not real sure what else to say on the matter.
With a rack is the lining needed? Prob not. Aesthetically, it looks great.
