@Michael, @Steve & the OB team

Would it be possible to split the Rally point forums by Rally point regions? This way we could subscribe to the regional forum and be notified of events in the area. Currently we either need to check Rally point every so often, or subscribe to the main Rally Point Thread (https://www.overlandbound.com/forums/forums/overland-bound-meetups.24/) and wade through every meetup from all areas.

These were the only 2 options I could come up with when talking to @dmurph1996 under thread:
https://www.overlandbound.com/forums/threads/new-to-denver-co.14253/#post-217982

Also is there an @mention handle that goes out to the various folks behind the scenes for requests like this? Something like @OBTeam, @OBDevs, or @OBSupport.

Thank you for the consideration.

Hi @Boort !

The short answer is it is absolutely possible.

The more we put into sub region forums, the more information gets fragmented, and not shared with the whole.

Take a look at this and let me know if it addresses the issue you are describing while keeping the meetups centrally located. Any feedback is appreciated.

@Michael Yes that mockup would fix it, and keep things from fragmenting. I like it. I do admit that I went a checked to see if you'd implemented it. cause that would have been the fastest Dev/Ops turnaround I'd seen.

Would it also be possible to be able to receive alerts any time that a rally point is created in your region? This would be helpful and would keep me from having to scroll through the rally points each day to search for one in my area.

I like that, if it's possible. I get alerts on the whole Land Use Forum, for example, whenever someone posts, even if it's a thread I have not contributed to or if not a direct reply with my name.
