I love those wheels! I have been thinking of grabbing them for my F150, but mainly worried of the weight and killing my gas mileage.

Looks great! I just started the “journey” have a 2005 Excursion 6.0. This is the “before” picture.

Updates are mostly mechanical so far. Striped down and rebuilt the engine, updated the suspension (resulting in about a 3” lift), swapped over to LED throughout and fixed some electrical issues.

Next probably tires and bumpers getting the spare on the back to free up some interior space. Then recovery, communications, safety gear.

If anyone has some advice recommendations for a big ol excursion let me know. This is also my daily driver so can’t be too extreme.

Semper Fi and see you out there!

Something I picked up in a forum I was following specific to the Excursion.

- 6 Bilstein shocks total (4 front & 2 rear)

- dual front shock mounting brackets

- Adjustable billet track bar

- Hellwig Rear Sway Bar

- Fox 2.0 Performance Series Stabilizer

- New U bolts

- 2" hanger kit

- Front leaf spring replacement - Ford 2C3Z-5310-HA

- Modification to rear leaf spring using Ford 3C3Z-5560-CB

- lift block from a F250 in the rear springs.

now it rides pretty much just like a F-250 Superduty
