Took apart the 80/20 bed rack to make it into a cage structure to allow me to mount my Skycamp RTT on top of the camper shell.

Decided if I’m going to have to run the running boards to keep the Ladyfriend happy I might as well paint them black. I didn’t scuff them up so I’m gonna have to redo it this winter.

Nice build I’m looking to do something similar I really like the decked system
If your truck is not going to have a cap (camper shell) I highly recommend the decked system. If you are going to have a camper shell, just build drawers out of plywood, square tubing and skateboard bearings. You can get much bigger drawers building it yourself.

Well the road trips and camping just got a little more convenient. REI (I know some of you hate them) forgot to add fridges to their sale exclusion list. So I got it at 20% off on Sunday night. Arrived at the store shipped free today Wednesday at noon. None of the employees even knew they sold fridges.
