Even as a Jeep guy, there is a reason I still have my Toyota Landcruiser!

IMG_0281.JPG As much of a Jeep guy as I am, I am glad to have my 97' FZJ80 Toyota Landcruiser. I am still waiting for some parts to fix my Jeep Cherokee. Have not started my Landcruiser up in a while, so jump in and it fires right up. It's cold today, just below freezing, but my Landcruiser started like it was in the middle of summer. That is why so many trust a Toyota as an overlander! Benz.

I'd happily join the 80 Cruiser crowd if I could find a good example at a decent price (been trying for nearly 2 years). Well cared for examples at something resembling a reasonable price are getting scarcer and scarcer. By the third or fourth owner and a multitude of "upgrades" undertaken by Darrell and his other brother, Darrell, I start questioning reliability and the costs to undo their handywork. An unmolested example being sold by an original or 2nd owner is becoming a wives tale, and is priced accordingly.
Enjoy your 80, I know I would.
