End of summer get together and BBQ and campout in the Jemez. - 10/13/2018

Hello everyone, how about an end of summer bbq/potluck? Location will be in the Jemez Mountains on 376. We will be camping for those that want to.

How about Oak Flat's PG about 9 miles south of Tijeas on S. 14. Lots of other events happen there. Its a large reserveable (if that's a word) picnic ground. I live on the north side of Cedro Peak and noticed a whole party of "jeeps" heading up 462 last night while we were sitting on our deck eating dinner. It is possible to run up 462 to 5 Hills, over to Cedro Peak, then back out to 14 and finish off with a couple more miles of highway up to the picnic ground. Just saying...

Sounds like a good time. Should we try to do it somewhere where people can camp the night afterwards if they want? Ill probably stay the night up around Cedro Peak if we do it up there.
