Any idea roughly where you’ll aim to make camp Friday night? Might join just for Friday/Saturday (I have a short weekend due to work)....been wanting to try my hand at the WABDR for a while!

Looking to camp just past Cashmere in buck ridge. We will look for campsite but I have a few marked up. I’m bringing kids so will spend some time in bee hive dam on day one too let everyone cool off for a bit before we head on.

Awesome. I haven't marked up anything on section 4, so that will be uncharted territory for me. I'm going to RSVP myself, the lady, and our dog as a tentative for now.... We've been wanting to do a section of WABDR ... Will check in as the week goes on and weather outlook etc (our dog won't handle extreme heat.... Thin skinned greyhound!)

We could probably start with you in ellensburg we'd be taking the whole day off Friday. Probably turn back after breaking camp Saturday.
The rally point is saying max number reached for some reason...

Definitely seems like a bug! Well, just consider me as a tentative. I'll confirm next week! Could be why no one has joined it yet. Consider remaking the event from the website/mobile web....

Interesting it wouldn’t show me attending on the app but shows on the website. Good enough. We are planning to come along Friday and head back to town Saturday!

Looks like we will be under a burn ban during the trip so propane only. Hopefully someone has a gas fire ring but not a biggie since the sun won’t be going down until after 9pm.

Looking at my schedule I don’t get done with work Thursday night until after midnight so there’s no possible way we will make the 8am meet in ellensburg... if someone can post coordinates here when you make camp Friday we will try to reach it before dark, otherwise just gonna have a stab at section 3 solo! What could go wrong....

As the time approches we need to make sure we have everything we will need.
we willbe using GMRS 5 for coms there will limited cell service
we need to make sure our rigs are in good working order- Check fuilds Belts ETC
there will be limited bathrooms and we will mostly be disperused camping
Recovery strap or winch rated for your rig.
Plenty of food and water for 3 days of travel plus emergency.
Full size spare. TIre repair kit or flat fix
Ability to air up and down your rig.
Im not expecting any kind of major obsticals but things change all the time. Ill be using gaia for maping.
there will be cell service in Wenatchee and cashmere if you wanted to pick up the group friday afternoon.
i will be brining my two kids and we will be hanging out in beehive reservoir friday afternoon for a little. it is very accesable from wanatchee

If you get service for camp Friday, shoot me the coordinates and we will get there if we can do so safely before dark! Otherwise, go crush it. We will be out there behind you somewhere. I'll check in around the top of the hours on GMRS 5 to see if I can reach you. I have a 15w Midland in the rig.
