Saw a fellow countryman create a Western Canada thread... Noticed there wasn't one for the Eastern folks :). So thought I'd take a stab at it.
Anyone else on here from Ontario Eastwards? I'm in Quebec myself.
Give a shout out with any trail or trip info you might have. I'll post more shortly.

Hi!!

We're from Upstate NY, very close to the Canadian border near Kingston, we have done some exploring in calabogie and plan to come back up in July for a week, does anyone have any suggestions on places to check out?

@jbenner0708 Algonquin Park is always nice. But check out Killarney provincial park as well. Go on the parksontario site and they have the provincial park system nicely laid out. Lots of car camping, some suggestions for back country. It's a good start. My backyard is literally the Gatineau park. Not a whole lot of camping, but nice hiking.

Thank you!!! We bought the pass to go into the parks, but from what I understand it is only necessary for one area... We have a cabin we rent, so I'm mainly just looking for nice long day trip trail rides with some great scenery [emoji5]

This is the past time we visited, we rode some old hydro roads as well as a part of the K&P. [emoji5] About 4 hours on trail before we found our way out.
