New 4Runner Trail, $20k in mods and accessories, and perhaps a $15k teardrop trailer.

I have forgotten who said this but that nerf covered unimog is sounding better & better!Ok, another hypothetical question... just because it's fun.
If you had $75,000 to spend on a rig and mods, what would you build?
And... go!

Oh that is sweet! One of those super modular Unimog 419 rigs! (aka Frieghtliner SEE) Just about the whole thing is configurable... would be so cool to set it up with a camper too. Turbo straight 6 diesel, lockers all around, portal axles, 40" tires, 4 wheel disc brakes, onboard air & hydro, even has a surprising top speed of ~50mph. The 419's full kit of hydraulic tools include a bucket, excavator, blade, forks, crane, chainsaw, impacts, jackhammer, rock drill, shears, & more (many of which are packed into the rear toolboxes). The ultimate way to clear/create trails with everything all in one little package! Then swap out the rear tray for the camper & go explore :)
The 419 all kitted out:
Similar short wheelbase Unimog chassis with a camper fitted:
