I bought my RAM in September of 2016 shortly after getting reassigned in Alamogordo, NM. It only took one trip to the mountains for hunting and I fell back in love with the NM wilderness. I am finally getting the truck to where I want it to be. Having owned a few Jeeps I told myself I was going to keep it stock. Now I find myself doing what I said I wasn't going to do...…….modifying it. Needless to say this is how it sits after a 3625 mile road trip to NutHouse Industries in Morrow, OH.
Details:
- Tech II rack w/removable cross bars, a coiling cover, awning mounts, Rotopax, Maxtrax, highlift, and a Eeze-Awn Axe/Shovel mounts. They are fabbing me up a plate for mounting a fire extinguisher and gonna mail it to me.
- 23 Zero Walkabout 62 RTT
- N-Fab Steps (Eventually these will be replaces with White Knuckle Off-road Sliders)
- Ranch Hand Sport bumper w/ a Warn 16.5Ti Synthetic
- Bilstein 5162 Leveling kit w/ matching rears, BDS Track bar, and a RC steering brace
- Method MR306 Mesh Wheels w/275/65R20 Nitto Ridge Grapplers
- Stealth Module
- CAT Fuel Filter Kit w/ a Fleece Factory Filter Delete
- OPT7 60” LED Tailgate Light Bar
- RC x5 LED Light Bar and a 20" Python eBay special light bar
- Weathertech Floor Liners and splash guards
- AVS Aeroskin II Bug Guard

Finished up a few projects on my truck this weekend. Added a 6 circuit fuse box, rewired my existing light bars, added some rock lights, added a set of Auxbeams on the rack, and installed a Midland MXT275 Micromobile with a 3DB gain ghost antenna.

Those are sweet! Great looking truck. I've been keeping an eye on their site for when they release the model for the 2019 1500 quad cab 64" bed.

Well, I ran across a smoking deal on an AEV Dual sport suspension lift, 5 salta wheels, and mud flaps from a member on here. So needless to say.......out with the old and in with the new. Had to pull my rock sliders and order spacers for them to be compatible with the radius arm brackets.. Tires and wheels to follow shortly.

Hey David,
Nice build. Did you install the Ranch hand Bumper yourself? What were the lessons learned? I see that is has the sensors and factory tow hooks. Can you mount OEM Fog lights? My Ram is a 2018. Thanks for your help.

The ranch hand is heavy so it took 3 people and a few jack stands. Yes I kept the factory fog lights. Ranch hand has a bracket to use to keep them

Thanks for the feedback. I have been looking at the AEV, but they have been out of them for months. It think this Covid thing has stopped them from manufactoring them. Thanks again

Well the spacers for my White Knuckle sliders showed up so my son helped me put them back on. 4.30 gears will be here tomorrow and getting them installed on the 19th.
