Dometic CFX3 Fridge Recall

  • Guest, UPDATE We went through the site migration runbook and completed all steps. We will need to complete the migration next week, but will leave the forums up for the weekend. A few days after maintenance, a major upgrade revision to the forum site will occur.

Just received a recall notice for the Dometic CFX3 model fridge line. The recall basically stated that you must not plug into AC and DC at the same time. A part may fail and cause a voltage backflow through your 12v circuit causing a potential fire.
The recall includes CFX3 35, 45, 55IM, 75DZ, 95DZ, and 100.

I'm not sure if this has been posted yet so I thought I would put it out there.
