We have three large dogs that take up most of the back of the 4Runner so I'm looking at a trailer options.
Our dogs are used to sleeping in the tent with us, because they are annoying when tied outside at night (i.e. bark at murderous pine cones and spooky noises).
I've been looking at the Crux 1600 because it has the sleeping area "semi-low" that would allow the dogs to be loaded into the sleeping area with us and also has an enclosed annex that would allow the dogs to be close and not able to get out at night...
Does that kind of tent setup work for those of you that take your dogs?
In general what do you do with your dogs at night?
