My tools are mostly older Craftsman with some random S-K, Stanley, some others - and some Duralast from Autozone. That last category represents anything I discovered was lacking while mid-repair in the driveway. I've amassed quite a lot of tools and skills over the last 30 years for someone who is not a mechanic.
Long and short is that I am working on gathering the necessary tools and sizes for each specific vehicle (I have a 14 GMC Sierra and a 99 Jeep Grand Cherokee). I am trying to identify needs and compile, piecemeal, vintage Craftstsman sets for each while keeping everything else at the "hacienda". That way I have good trail tools, but at low Nairobi prices. As a fall back, on an as needed basis, I'll likely get some more Duralast and/or pick up some Husky along the way because of the warranty and nationwide outlets, start mixing them in with my trail tool kits for whatever I'm missing.
